Sorry if this has already been discussed, but I haven't seen it....
SEC East in the SEC championship:
If Mizzou wins out there in obviously, but if they don't...
For USCe to go, they would need Mizzou to lose at least one game and AU to beat UGA?
For UGA to go, they would need Mizzou to lose both and a win over AU?
Do I have this correct? thanks

No one cares anymore. Nothing really matters.

Yes, except for the clause nobody has mentioned. UGA could still beat AU, while Mizzou loses 2 SEC games and still NOT go to the SECCG. How you ask...if UGA loses to Kent.
Other than that, you're pretty spot on.
If Mizzou wins out, they go to the SECCG regardless.
If Mizzou wins 1 game, then it matters if there is a 2 way or 3 way tie for the division lead, and it matters who is in the tie breaker with them.
If USC, Mizz and UGA are all tied for the division with 2 SEC Losses, Mizz goes to the SECCG, b/c of their division record 5-1.
If UGA loses to Aub and Mizz only loses 1 more SEC game, UGA is eliminated from the race. However, Mizz's one more loss puts them in a tie with just USC, which USC holds the tie breaker (head to head), but USC MUST beat UF to even make that an option.

Well if mizzou losses 1, then you have three way tie. Winner is highest BCS ranking

It goes to division record at a 3 way tie, then BCS ranking after that.

The West is simple.
The winner of Alabama/Auburn will go, unless Auburn loses to UGA, in that case Alabama will clinch before the Iron Bowl (assuming they beat MSU, if they lost to MSU after Auburn lost to UGA then the Iron Bowl would decide it again).

Correct, BCS ranksing is the very last of the tiebreakers.
They'll probably have to address that next year with the BCS standings going away.

Almost none of that is correct, but nice effort

thanks for helping clarify that for me.
Didn't see UK beating Georgia so didn't really take that into consideration.
I have no idea who larry alter is, but I promise I'm not him.... I have this username on several sites, just don't post much here...

Because you have no shot at a division title, nothing matters for anyone else... okay, youre right.
