season threads seem more comical this year. I kinda like it, but feel nostalgiac for yesteryear.

What's everyone's opinions on Auburn actually pulling out a win @ home against the best team in the country?
Were Alabama fans spewing the same trash in 2009 when an undefeated Alabama came in to Jordan Hare against an Auburn team that they had shut out the year before? They had better hope they make all the plays on the final drive this year. This is the Iron Bowl, and anything can happen.

Yeah! How dare they think this for a rivalry game?? Why even bother playing?
(Sarcasm meter off)
My wife is an Auburn grad. The 2002 Iron Bowl pops to mind as I post this.

1. Alabama is a very talented team playing very good football.
2. Auburn has gotten really good results in spite of some areas of weakness.
3. The team with the fewest turnovers and most yards rushing often wins.
4. I think we have a chance. In other words if you put the game through 50,000 simulations we could win many times. They will only play once, so I think we have a chance.
5. Alabama will be favored by 14 to 17 points
