Here's what it looks like form a distance in cloudy conditions. Pretty freaky.

And here was the freaky green sky... you can se why people were a little weirded out since there was no announcement or anything that they were doing it.

I think they've been watching too much Clint Eastwood movies.

Tiger fans have been waiting for the home opener to get a look at the new and improved, and even bigger, Tiger Stadium. They will get their chance to see the Tigers run out of the tunnel on Sept. 6 at 6:30 p.m. when Sam Houston travels to Baton Rouge. On Saturday night, some around Baton Rouge got to witness a new scene of Tiger Stadium as it was lit up in purple inside and out.

Don't be so dense. They just put a purple image up on the screen and turned the lights off.

LSU also lights up the outside
