His tweet literally said "yea I took $ n college so wat. I did what I had to do"
how the hell is that cryptic?

Nothing cryptic about that. However, if you have ever met DJ, ever heard him speak, or ever read any of the thousands of other tweets he's typed, you would know that's not how he talks.

Not saying he didn't take anything while at Bama, he may have. Maybe he didn't. I can say with near 100% confidence that he didn't type that tweet tho.

I didn't know you could put a recruits name up on the jumbotron. Learn something new everyday.

You can do anything you want at Bama, that's why everyone hates them. They don't play by the same rules but want to claim all the glory.

Better couldn't myself said.

The folks complaining about this quote:
quote:

I went to a game in Tuscaloosa to experience what it would be like to be a part of that team and that history, and they did it up. I ran out of that tunnel with the team —against LSU, no less — and it was electrifying. Fans were screaming, my name was up on the jumbotron, it was crazy. I felt like I was a part of something bigger than a football team, like I made it to the NFL already. The whole stadium had an attitude about it. Everyone had a swagger. I felt like it was my time.

blame Les Miles for not saying anything about it. I mean, then entire LSU staff saw this seemingly blatant NCAA violation and said nothing about it to the NCAA.

say what you want about DJ, but i have seen first hand what a class act and great person this guy is. My son goes to the same school as his sister in Mobile. When he is in town he always makes a point to stop by the school to visit his sister and spend time with all the kids. He lets the kids climb all over him and he plays well with them all. He gives more than his share of time and signs EVERY SINGLE autograph and takes EVERY SINGLE picture that is asked of him by the students. This includes when he comes to sports events his sister participates in. He doesn't have to do any of this, but he even goes further to speak to the students about the importance of staying in school and doing your best at everything you do. To top it off, he never lets media show up with him to document any of it. He wants nothing in return.

Whether he played at Bama, Auburn, LSU or Cal Poly Technic, he is a HELL of a person and is a beast of a man....He is class personified.

I got chills reading that. I love our stadium and atmosphere. From hearing the Bear talk to the new music they are piping in just makes it an epic experience.

Bama opened up the checkbook when he got on campus. That's what happened.
