Any chance of a division realignment after 2024 when the set cycle is finished?

"West" division:
Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss, State, Mizzou, Texas A&M, and Alabama would work.

"East" division:
Auburn, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

Seems pretty even. Less beating up on each other and eliminates "The East sucks" argument if talent level remains.

Rivalries Kept:
Auburn v Alabama (cross division game)
Tennessee v Alabama
Georgia v Auburn
Mizzou v Arkansas
Tennessee v Vanderbilt
Florida v Georgia
Ole Miss v State
Mizzou v Texas A&M (Big12? Germans?)

Also eliminates a lot of cross-division rivalries, which allows for everyone to travel to other campuses in less time.

By 2024, the strength of each team will vary greatly.

Also, for the sanity of the rest of the sec and the state of Alabama, auburn and alabama need to be in the same division, otherwise it would be possible to play each other three times in the same season.

Only if we get to keep Vandy as our cross division game.

Mizzou is never leaving the East. We sure as frick aren't pulling up stakes in Texas to recruit Flo Rida and Georgia just to have to get back into Texas once the hillbillies decide it's time.

The East won 8 of the first 11 SECCG. I remember analysts wondering if the West would/could ever really compete.

The East won't be down forever.

So LSU trades you for Auburn, every year. No thanks. Losing UF would be one thing, but hell no, to not playing the AL schools, Ole Miss, and the Shelties, every year.

You move Vandy and Mizzou into the west for Bama and Auburn. Conference realigned. You're welcome.
