I have a hard time believing any normal SEC fraternity would taunt disabled military vets and their wives. shite would have been absolutely unheard when I was in school 8-10 years ago.
The fact that it is a fraternity I've never heard of at UF makes it somewhat more plausible, but I'm going to guess this is something similar to the "Auburn players attack female veteran with PTSD" story.

'We are committed to fully addressing the events that took place, and will be hiring an independent investigator to help us gather all of the facts. Short-term, we are actively working with the resort, with the Presidents of both universities and with the local police to fully understand the events that took place. In all instances, we have a zero tolerance policy towards this type of behavior and are committed to appropriately disciplining any members of our Fraternity who were involved.
Sounds like to me they are doing the right thing in this situation. No one can control what some punks do on there own free time but I believe this fraternity and the school has the proper response. This is definitely no Valdosta State University kind of response. Maybe that school should learn from how Florida is handling the situation.

ZBT is an average size frat. They were off campus when I was in school but based off the local news footage those frickers are on frat row, hopefully not for long.

Same here but maybe this fraternity is just different. We had several guys serve after college and I just can't imagine that happening. Then again, I'm guessing fraternities and UF generally are different from Auburn and the rest of the SEC in that regard.
