He's not bragging about winning tSECCG, he's bragging about simply making it to a game and then getting beat.

lol @ UGA and their moral victories

Division titles are not moral victories dude. I would trade 4/5 with UGA for SECCG appearances in a second.

winning the east is an actual, real life accomplishment. It's kinda of a big deal, and one of the first goals all 14 teams have before the season.

Win division, win SEC, win natty. Pretty sure that's how it goes for everyone.

none needed when it comes to jacksonville, we've done plenty enough on the field as of late.

I guess if you're UGA, haven't won a NC in 30+ years, have a top5 recruiting class every single year, etc etc.......then yeah, let's celebrate being slightly less shitty than the rest of the shitty arse East.

"We made it out of the East by default cause everyone sucks, then get our asses whipped by whoever represents the West. Whooohooo"!!!!

So you wouldn't trade UGA's last 4 years with Florida's 4 years?

Here's an interesting question. Would you trade 2010-2013 SC for UGA.

In that scenario SC would have 2 division titles, UGA only one. But UGA would have the bragging rights above SC, the better overall record, the better SEC record, and the better SEC-E record.

I absolutely would. SECCG appearances don't come often around here. I wouldn't even hesitate.

any SC fan in their right mind would.

we've had that for 100+ years over you anyway, what's 4 more? On the other hand, you have only had 1 division title. Why wouldn't you take a few more?

the tiger rant was trying to orchestrate a lynch mob with torches to march across the river at Natchez and Vicksburg and demand the State of Mississippi turn Day over to them

We wouldn't be taking a few more. In the scenario of reversed roles UGA would win 2010 and SC would win 2011 and 2012. We'd be taking one more. One more division title, not a conference title, and a lot less total wins.

Plus, you'll find there are many Gamecocks who find 4 wins over UGA something worth bragging about. Imagine if we had 2 division titles but Spurrier was only 2-8 vs the Dawgs?

Trae Elston is dirty as F. He was the one that deliberately twisted Marlon Brown's knee as he was tackling him on the play that tore his ACL his senior year,

Well if it's a true apples to apples comparison, in one of those years you would have almost played for a national title and finished ranked 4th in the country. That would undoubtedly be one of the 2 or 3 best years in yoru school history. You currently have 1 east title. You wouldn't accept doubling that number?

why would it matter? His job wouldn't be in jeopardy, the series record isn't remotely close, so that number would be largely irrelevant.

Sometimes yes. But the only reason Clemson fans aren't 100% happy with Dabo is because of our dominance over him. Losing to a rival over and over again matters in college football. Perhaps more than any other sport in the world, college or pro. UGA isn't our chief rival so the blow would be less blunt.. but after a while there is pressure to beat team X.

whoa whoa whoa whoa WAIT A MINUTE. Your SC Board and pretty much every poster of your fanbase always says SC only has one rival, and it's clemson. You have no room for others, and UGA isn't your rival. So is UGA a rival or not?

eta: nvm I see the rest of yoru post. still...it wouldn't really matter. For the overall state of the SC football prpogram, don't you think winning 2 SEC east titles and finsihing 4th in one of those years would be better than beating UGA but not winnign anything?
