Dial got a roughing the passer penalty against Cutler the other night, but that hit and the hit on Murray fall more along the lines of a clean football hit that has recently been outlawed than a textbook dirty hit

Like Miss State fans defending Day, the Auburn fans defending Fairly are really showing their bias.

Dillion Day has been suspended by the SEC for his dirtiness. Fairley never was suspended. Oh yeah, if you want to see a truly dirty play, you should look at what Marquel Wade did to a Vandy player

You know the weird thing about Haynesworth is I can't remember him being all that bad about dirty play until he went nuts in the NFL. He wasn't all that dirty in college but given his size he probably didn't have to be.

I would agree. I don't remember Haynesworth making any dirty plays while at UT.

Nick Fairly and it ain't even close... Surprised he wasn't charged with assault w/his level of dirty play... Dude made Quinton Dial look like the pope. His dirty play is the stuff of legend...

The biggest complaint I had about Haynesworth is he'd take plays off sometimes. I think he just went crazy, maybe way too close to real crazy, in the NFL.

Who was the AU player that wouldn't come of the field and Trooper had to go reign him in and get him to the sidelines? Was it the UGA game?
