It seems like a very heartfelt and sincere letter. I was brought to tears.

Now this is a legit gripe.

The fact that it happened twice with the same player pretty much confirms that it was intentional for me. That stuff doesn't happen that often by accident.

The only people that stomp defenseless, kick, bite, punch below the belt, etc. are the biggest cowards on the field. Fake tough guys.

The only remorse we have is that Mullen isn't an a-hole and didn't beat you by 30.

It seems like he is a real tough guy...or else LSU players would have confronted him about it.

Dillon put the two LSU players he accidentally stepped on up for prayer intentions during church Sunday.

I personally feel like Dillon taking time to reflect and write a heartfelt letter like this is punishment enough.

I can't judge intent from that doctored video. I just have to trust Dillon.

Agreed, except maybe the guy going around stomping on people laying on the ground after a tackle.

If Day gets suspended a game or so for this, I have no problem with it.

Why? I thought he did nothing wrong and it was LSU's fault.

Dillon ordered some type of special padding for his cleats to cushion the blow if a tragic accident like this happens again.

He's a center...not a long jumper. He tried his best to avoid the situation. LSU player was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

No. Stomping a defenseless player is cowardly. No other way around it.
