LSU fans have convinced themselves that game never happened.
Why do you make stuff up? It happened, y’all won.

Florida was the better coached team that day and beat us.

How does auburns strength match up with ours? Their secondary is suspect..our WRs our the best part of the offense.

It's the weakest part of their D, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's suspect. Your WRs won't have time to get downfield unless your Oline has improved in a hurry. Franks was probably better than Trask at escaping pressure.

One thing though, considering that every amateur seems to think it's a stone cold lock for Auburn, the line moved from -3.0 to -2.5 Auburn. That would mean the big money must be coming in on the Gators.

Not sure what he meant but AU is particularly strong against the run and UF has struggled there...so on paper, it looks like right off the bat, UF is forced to be one dimensional...and that one dimension is going to be dealing with a pass rush like they haven't seen this year. I don't know where this comes from exactly but I heard some version of the following during the State game: "Auburn has more QB pressures/hurries than any team in the country but not a ton of sacks because the teams they have faced have been able to get rid of the ball". Anyone that has watched Auburn knows that's a fierce pass rush...but there is an awful lot of "almost"...which should equate more INT's but Auburn's secondary can't catch a cold.

I would expect AU to indeed make Trask beat them...and I would expect UF to do their best to make Bo Nix beat them. I just think AU is going to have more success stopping the run than UF and think AU wins a close-ish one 24-17...but I wouldn't be shocked at all if UF comes out with the W.

Seems like Mullen finds away to win some of these games and ones we should win big in fall behind.

Yep. LSU played shitty, and gave the game away to an inferior Florida team.

The difference between FF and Trask is this, Franks might actually play well enough (come near his ceiling) and be the reason they win a game like this. Trask will never look as bad as Franks and will be much more likely to be consistent game to game. But Trask likely can't beat a team like this. And it's really hard to see UF winning this game without a huge game from their QB.

Auburn is underrated if anything. They would be the #1 team in the country if playoff rankings were out.

Also it cracks me up how many threads Koreandawg starts with his pseudo-analytics of what should happen when he can't pick his nose. He loves to tell you that he picked LSU to beat Georgia last year, but he never reminds us of all the losers he picks.

What is your record this season picking games Koreandawg?

The toughest team UF has played is either Miami or UK. This is their first real test, so we'll see if it's all a sham.

I agree on only being able to pass...but that's been every game. Miami we had no ground game and their defense is good(offense isnt). Kentucky and Tenn we couldnt run either. Yet metrics wise our offense has been relatively efficient in spite of that

A great secondary would shut us down and we would be powerless. Great run D just means we are basically an air raid offense lol
