Lots of talk about Simmons being allowed to play at MSU, but hasn't Mullen kicked off a player for the same thing? I can't remember the name, but it was late in the season and was a DB... Went to the NFL after that.

Burglary and aggravated domestic violence I believe were the charges.

Mullen was still OC at Florida when Aaron Hernandez *allegedly* commited his first murder. You can bet Mullen was in on the cover up with Urban

Mullens got to compete. Getting guys like this is the only way to push them over the edge. Jedaveon clowney was put in handcuffs and almost arrested when he signed at usc. He turned out fine.

Mullens went about it the right way. Look at the bright side, low risk high reward. He can always cut him.

That's him. He was a 5* coming out of HS. Went JUCO, was the #1 S and #18 overall according to 24/7. Was also starter when dismissed.

Give Mullen some credit, he could've taken the easy way out and held a team vote.

The right thing to do would have been to send his arse to Co-Lin for the season. Tell him that if he keeps his nose clean then he will have a scholarship starting the 2017 season. Pretty simple. A pretty severe punishment for a pretty severe situation. Yet still gives him all the chances in the world to be at state and one day make the NFL.

But it would for sure send a big message. And actually let state sit up on their high horse and call us out for our shite. But instead they are no better than us when it comes to issues with players.

I remember the name but it was his second offense, not his first. That does not mean I am OK with all of this. He should get a gray shirt, pay his own way for semester (y'all know how this works) and if you stay out of trouble, practice in the Spring.

At least Saban and Mullen kick people off the team after they screw up their second chance.

Mullen would commit a murder himself to have a Hernandez quality TE at State right now.

Mullen has proven that game film trumps violence on film.

Players. Recruits getting a second chance by a head coach, players are a separate issue all together.
