Did you think LSU's offense would transform this quickly?

I'm directing this to fans of other schools honestly. I thought we'd make a jump but nothing to what we've seen so far. And I know we havent played the best defenses in the world so the numbers are a little inflated but going from the worst offensive system in the SEC for a decade to a system running flawlessly in one offseason is crazy.

I always knew we had the talent at receiver but for the whole offense to click in one off season is impressive. And I'm not naive enough to think we wont stumble a bit when we play a real deal defense, it will happen.

I get it, I do. But despite the defenses we've played I still think its impressive. I knew there would be fans of other teams turn their nose up at this thread anyways. Whatevs.

After the offensive struggles LSU has had in the past few years, this years resurgence has been impressive...regardless of competition.

The offense transformed almost as fast as the LSU fan base that said a pass oriented would never get it done in the SEC. After only a few games they are fully on board.

Guess now that LSU is running some type of HUNH, spread, B12 offense, etc... it is now the greatest thing since shoes were introduced in Louisiana back in the 60s.

I think the reason your defense has regressed is because of the offensive transformation. SEC football used to be about pounding the ball, keeping your opponent off the field, and playing good defense. It’s hard to do that when you’re throwing all the time and scoring points.

You can win 30-0 old school or 60-30 new school. Win margin isn’t really changing.

Considering no offense in the history of the SEC has put up these numbers in the 1st 4 games i’d say we are in purty damn good

That’s definitely part of it but we’ve had an assload of missed tackles and assignments. Injuries obviously haven’t helped.

So you're implying us LSU fans were defending our offensive system before we installed this new offense? Correct me if I'm assuming wrong here..

I’m scared. LSU clearly can beat any year’s Super Bowl champion.

Understandable. But with the hand we have been dealt LSU has done about as well as a team could possibly play on offense. I'd like our run game to improve but our two most talented backs are both true freshman so its gonna take a little bit for them to get it going.

All offense and no defense.

Just preparing yourselves for the conference move to the Big 12 the next time an alleged "attack" on LSU is committed by the SEC Birmingham office.

Couldn't imagine being this childish. You cant even talk football to another teams fans anymore on this board. Everyone's so defensive and needs to lighten up!

Yeah I'm definitely concerned about the defense. On paper we're stacked but just cant seem to put it all together for whatever reason.
