Get ready to add another $20 to your streaming budget!

ESPN, Fox Sports, and Warner Bros. Discovery are combining into one sports streaming service of unprecedented scale.

Streaming has never looked more like cable, writes

ESPN will probably jack up the price too.

We will be forced to watch games with 6 to 8 commercials at every break.

I said $20 but watch it be $30 or $40.

I'd simply cancel YouTube TV, pick this up, and keep my sub to Philo and it would save me money still.

So you won't be able watch them via YouTube TV?

I will pass.

I will just watch on my free streaming site.

One small banner at the bottom is worth it.

Don’t ask me what site - I know all of you are FBI agents.

The only sports I watch anymore are Auburn and the Packers. I’m not paying for that.

I’ve had DirecTV for the last 10-12 years. Got fed up with paying $190 a month a few weeks ago and signed on with YouTubeTV. $72.99 is a breeze.

I was an early cutter, more than 8 years now. That said, cord cutting became nearly as expensive as cable once the streaming services offered live TV plus all the same channels that were on cable. The only reason it isn't exactly the same price as cable is because they don't have the overhead costs of modems/routers (that is either done by cable or 5G phone providers these days) and lackadaisical "installers".

So yeah, I dump my streaming service after football season and simply use all the free channels on Roku, but will pay for this if it is indeed only $20 per month.

I don't pay for TV or basically even watch TV anymore. Give my some Pluto channel and some good tv from back in the day. Ads suck, but no where near as bad as a football game.

Last year, I listened to all the games not on CBS on the radio. I'm guessing next year it will be 100%. Felt like the old days, except now I can watch highlights after the fact which is pretty cool.

I'll never give another dime to ESPN/ABC/Disney. I didn't even watch the SECCG or any of the playoffs. I went from loving them to absolutely hating them.

Cord cutting is a joke these days. They still force you to pay for a bunch of crap you don't want. This is no different, just another bundle that will creep up.

I literally cut the cable from my house with bolt cutters about 12 years ago. No cable TV, no cable internet. The only internet I have is through my iphone which I set up as a hotspot for my laptop. So no streaming either. frick paying for all that stupid shite. I listen to LSU games on the radio if they're not broadcast.

I'm starting to hate media in all of its forms. MSM, independent, local, whatever. It all sucks these days and I'm not even that old.

Streamers are now outnumbering cable subscribers. Soon enough the major cable companies will be offering internet only. The smaller guys are giving up their Live TV subs as we speak.
