Yep, would've been spotted on the half yard line. Instead it was placed at the 11 I believe

Even if Dobbs is laying in the end zone and the ball touches him and it goes out of bounds?

Doesn't matter. We shat the bed. Refs didnt blow this game for UT.

What difference does it make? The refs didn’t stop the clock after we got out of bounds, and a first down, TWICE on that final drive.

I believe the only one that was close to being out of bounds was the final catch. They stopped the clock to move the chains and then restarted.

Yes, the ball has to cross the plain. Trust me, I know what a fumble touchback looks like

It doesn't matter but I do wonder why the ball was moved off the hash?

No holding was called on UT or UF I think. I thought that was strange too.

Dobbs got out of bounds, so did the tight end.

No he didn't. He fumbled in bounds and the ball went out. The clock doesn't stop for that.

quote:

Dobbs, J. rush for 8 yards to the UF36, fumble forced by M. Maye, fumble by Dobbs, J. recovered by UT TEAM at UF36. fumble rolls out of bounds.

I don't have the drive memorized, but was the TE when forward progress was given when he got tackled backwards out of bounds?

That is what the refs called. He was driven out of bounds, they gave him forward progress. Admittedly, it was close but he did start the tackle well in bounds.

Looked like they moved it a couple of yards to the left.

If they made the 2nd attempt, this would be a headline story.
