Say what you want about ND's defense, but they were one of the best the entire year, and then we raped them. If you judge defenses by the way they played for an entire regular season, then they were "good".

And had crucial picks in the A&M game, had a bad game against georgia and LSU

You should sit this one out

Everyone knew Notre Dames defense was overrated. Stop trying to spin something to make Alabama look better than what they really are

Yeah dude, but you said he got "raped" which makes you look dumb.

Yet he led game winning drives in both of those games. Good QBs make plays when the pressure is on.

It makes you look like an absolute fool even debating that Mett is as good as McCarron.

No one is disputing that they didnt have a "great" defense, which is what the national media was spinning. That does not mean that they did not have a "good" defense.

Why would I even try and do that? We've won 3 out of 4 NCs, I know exactly how good we are.

Ok maybe not raped but he looked scared as shite early in the A&M game and choked at the end

I guess dumping it off to your RB = Game winning drive

OSU lost in 11 and Oregon lost in 12

Thats how youve won 3/4

Bama is on a slow decline

Our whole team did. Big whoop. It was our only loss of the season.

He had 4 completions on the game winning drive against LSU. Take a stab at how many were thrown to our RB.

The game winning score against UGA was a 40 something yard beauty to our WR.

Your cliche talking points are laughable.

I question how any Alabama fan could truly be concerned about the direction of the program at any point under Saban. He has that program rocking at a higher level than anyone thought was ever possible.

They have won three of the last four national titles. Any Bama fan who is worried because of a spring game probably doesnt dress themselves in the morning.

Team Stat Comparison
ALA LSU
1st Downs 18 22
Total Yards 331 435
Passing 165 296
Rushing 166 139
Penalties 1-15 7-51
3rd Down Conversions 1-9 10-20
4th Down Conversions 0-0 0-2
Turnovers 2 0
Possession 20:45 39:15

I don't know; maybe the fact that LSU held the ball for 2/3 of the game has something to do with Mettenberger putting up better numbers.

The SEC Championship was close on the scoreboard. Georgia needed a fake punt and a blocked field goal to keep the game close. The blocked field goal never should have happened. On replay, you can see that the incomplete pass that set up 4th down wasn't tipped, so the pass interference flag shouldn't have been overturned. Nick Saban's clock mismanagement before the end of the 1st half and AJ's interception on the back should pass into the end zone also cost Alabama points. Overall, we're talking about 3 TD swing here. The better team won.

The Texas A&M game has been beaten to death. I've heard the arguments. I'm going to have to go with the offense on this one. The offense was the reason for the loss.

As others have stated, back up QB. As for the turnovers, 4 of the INTS were thrown by backups. 2 of the fumbles were by wide receivers(1 was stripped) and one was a bad exchange on a hand off from Alec Morris to Drake. AJ got a little greedy at times, throwing passes he would not have thrown in a regular season game. He threw one pick in the red zone up 10 points on 3rd down. Someone in the game thread made a good point though, saying Saban probably wanted McCarron to force some passes and test the secondary. Well, the secondary won a lot. Landon Collins is the real deal. He, Ha-Ha, and Belue were breaking on passes like it was their job.
