Crazy seems they pulled the Texas vs TCU game for the Knicks NBA game. Never seen that before. I was literally watching it on ESPN2 and they switched to Philly vs Knicks. Sucks for the big time fans. Texas was playing well too and looks like it may come down to Sunday play.

What the hell? They just switched back to the baseball game. ESPN has some weird programming going on.

Did I miss a rain delay?

The game was moved up from 6 p.m. to 4 p.m. due to inclement weather (which is just now hitting the ballpark). I'm sure that had something to do with the broadcast shuffling

you and I were probably the only 2 watching on the planet.. but yes, they bounced it to ESPN U.. but I think it was scheduled to do so..

Interesting stats for Texas in Big 12

Game 1 (1-5)
Game 2 (5-1) if we win today
Game 3 (4-1) + tomorrow

Basically we suck against other teams aces..

I’d like to see Texas turn it around this year so that we get matched up with you in the regionals. NCAA couldn’t resist that.

I think that we miss the post season and Pierce is a dead man walking no matter what happens the rest of the season.

But, if Texas somehow makes the post season, we will 100% go to College Station.

So either we end your dreams or y'all ensure Pierce is fired. Win win for us.

it’s a longshot.. our RPI sucks..

if we don’t make it.. he is gone

if we lose to A&M.. he is gone

if we beat A&M (not likely) we have a chance to go to Omaha and Pierce might be back again..

mixed emotions on that one..

outside of wanting him gone, I’d like to see the game.. but our chances of winning are almost zero.. the only way to beat you guys is with an ace who throws a great game.. we don’t have that anywhere on the roster

Pierce is gone short of going to the CWS, and I'm still bewildered how Texas is even being considered as a regional team. RPI is bad, the team has dropped several series to bad teams, and they more or less looked completely uncompetitive against any elite teams they have played this year.

Texas knows they could do a lot better and I think they will this offseason

Doesnt this mean he is gone? Pierce has a horrible record against Ags. I was at the game this year. Pretty ugly.

I def wouldn't say that Texas sucks. U guys still have a shot at NCAA and that is all that is needed....a chance.

Yes, I talk some sip shite talk. But in reality...doing it in fun. Baseball is much better with UT being competitive.

I wouldn’t say Texas is terrible. I would say they are historically terrible, and the team is just going through the motions. Pierce is a goner.

Worst Texas baseball team I’ve ever seen. They may be the worst team in all of Texas this year … lost to almost every other team in the state at least once

Pretty sure his point is that, COMPARED TO THEIR HISTORY, they are terrible.

It’s a compliment, if anything.

My mistake, I thought you were talking about their all time history….

It's a shame. It's fun emptying your ball park by the 5th
