Bama cheated last year too also.

Then it obviously shouldn't be a big deal (to Ole Miss fans) when we cheat. It's overcome easily enough, anyway. Right?

Kelly is just past 3 downfield when the pass is thrown. He was too far, but not by very much. Certainly not 5+ as happened in the ole miss.

in all seriousness, you can cry all you want, that was a borderline penalty, you are allowed 3 yards. Regardless you can tell VERY OBVIOUSLY by the way Kelly is acting that he knows he fricked up and is frantically looking for someone to block so that he is legal. I wouldnt be pissed whether this was called or not on either side of the ball, however this just reinforces the need to make that call reviewable just like passing beyond the line of scrimmage.

Also, it didnt affect the game because as you can see, the nobody came off their man to allow that pass

Rebs are new to this. Let me recap for you. The only way Bama takes a loss is when they beat their self. Bama is fine with bending the rules, as long as they are the ones doing it. Them catching a break from the ref is just football. The other team catching a break from the ref is cheating, and the got dang league better stop it. Your school is trash if you accept pot smoking recruits. They are okay with wife beaters. Ole Miss has a gimmicky offense. You use cards to call plays in and run a hurry up O. Their O does this, too, but it is not a gimmick.

Sounds about right.

Can't wait to see someone illegally bat an onside kick against them.

Why are you still thinking about this 5 days after a win over Bama?

As a Rebel shouldn't you have moved on to Vandy, or as a Gator shouldn't you have moved on to Vols?

Even though Alabama likely knows how it feels to have questionable calls go to the opponent after last Saturday, they are indignant because they are so used to getting ALL the breaks because....well...they are ALABAMA.

This is a new day, Bama. You no longer rule the universe in football.
The bad calls in the game evened out for both sides. Bama got beat by an Ole Miss team that is way better than they are. I realize this is a hard concept for Bama fans.
Get some therapy!

Insecurity.

He and his brethren know it is a near certainty that they'll frick it up and land in the chicken bowl yet again this season so they're practicing for the melt.

Blocking someone wouldn't make it legal. Linemen can't be downfield on a pass play until after the ball is thrown.

Using Auburn logic with Gus:

Gus is accredited for all of their wins in 2009 because he is such an excellent play caller and QB developer. He's not credited for the losses because he was an OC at the time and it wouldn't be fair to judge him due to the fact that he has a buffoon at HC. Any bad play call was because of Chizik. Gus is also credited for developing Cam into the monster he was in 2010 and all of the victories. Gus is the best OC of all time and worked magic. Gus is not however allowed to be judge for any losses in the 2011 season because of how young the Auburn football team was and he still had Chizik at HC. If Chizik would have allowed Gus to call the shots in the off-season, Auburn would have repeated as a national champion. The times where Auburn scored less than expected was because of Chizik and unfairness. In 2013 however, Gus became the HC and essentially fielded the best team of all time, regardless of its record. The losses to LSU and Florida State were due to stiff due and blatant cheating. The back-to-back wins over Georgia and Alabama were the biggest games to ever be played because Auburn won and should be the best victories in CFB history because of how awesome Gus called the miracles. Ellis Johnson made Auburn lose every game in 2014 and Gus could not control it. Gus made Saban quit and put up more yards than him, therefor the '14 IB belongs to Auburn. The refs are in the back of Alabama's pockets and every game Alabama has won deserves an asterisk.

To go along with this, no victory over an Auburn team with less than 9 wins should count because you didn't beat a good Auburn team and Auburn was couldn't field an equally skilled team.

You would be incorrect sir.

"Ineligible receiver downfield is a penalty that is called when a forward pass is thrown and an ineligible receiver is beyond the line of scrimmage without blocking an opponent at the time of the pass."

But since y'all such sticklers for the rule.....HE DOESN't HAVE TO....he just has to be down field because the defenders are keying off him

He was roughly three yards downfield when the ball was released. This was discussed yesterday.

Doesn't that refer to when they engage the defensive player within the 3 yards and then push him beyond it? I don't think you can run 15 yards downfield and then hit someone and it's not a penalty.

A flag should have been thrown. Nobody's saying that just Alabama should be able to do it. It should be illegal for everybody. Two wrongs don't make a right!

Coincidentally, he WASNT 15 yards down field. Thanks for playing though
