When he took dead aim at Dial's shoulder using his helmet as a weapon, I figured SEC would take action since it was well away from the play.

Dial did have a pretty big facemask shaped bruise on his shoulder after the game.He was barely able to lift his spoon to eat his cheerios the next morning.

If elston was suspended Dial should have been. The only fans who could bitch about him not being suspended are UGA or Ole Miss (Because of Elston) fans ...

Video stills of the game just before the collision clearly showed Murray looking in Dial's direction just before contact was made, so IMO it's a safe assumption to make that the hit wasn't unplanned...
I believe Murray should be in line for some sort of punishment....
