I'm sure he sees it as a generic thing that riles up the base. At least only one of them was directed at a specific kid.

And, to be honest, the kids probably respond with frick you too right back.

And in Louisiana the southern part of the state looks down on the northern part so get the frick out of here with this bullshite.

If I drive a 2015 F-150 King-Ranch (SLA) & look down upon the 2015 F-150 basic model (NLA) doesn't mean we all haven't forgotten that Alabama is still driving their 1999 Chevy.

I think he had a small few in mind when he said it, and it was another way of saying, Look, we got who we wanted this year, and they more than made up for any that have left.

Wished he would have worded it differently, but Miles and words don't really ever seem to get along well.

Kiel chickened the frick out and no-showed moving day. Our current qb situation that everybody likes to laugh at, yeah. And cost us a starter on the OL bc we gave the EE spot he wanted to Gunner. I'm ok with Les saying that he is a pussy in front of others.

It is really disappointing when Louisiana kids bail, nothing you can do about it. "The hell with them" = "moving on" in this context, dgaf.

Les says to hell with 'em; Nick hits 'em on TV. Sticks and stones can break their bones, but words etc. One could even get you arrested.

So can someone of you tell me why it is ok to curse them if they leave your state but readily accept out of state kids. Isn't that being a hypocrite. If that is the case you guys should only take kids from LA.

That's because that '99 chevy is winning the race. We all know you haven't forgotten about that

Why would a coach hit a kid and humiliate him on national TV? Is that okay?

because Louisiana

LSU is the proverbial big fish in a little pond. They are not in a huge state, but it's a state that produces a lot of talent, and they are the only big show in town. That's what makes their situation different from any other in the SEC. There is a large sense of entitlement among louisiana football fans when it comes to recruiting because of that. They feel as though a kid from louisiana owes it to them and the state to come play at LSU if they're offered, when in reality these kids don't owe anybody anything. They take it personally though.

I'm speaking in generalities. Obviously all lsu fans don't think with that pyschotic mindset, but plenty do. While we all realize it is a twisted view they have, we really can't comprehend it because no one else in the conference, or country for that matter, is in the same situation and has been since the 60's.

The only thing close to LSU and Louisiana on a national scale is Ohio State in Ohio and Penn State in Pennsylvania, but I don't know how their fans act in regards to a kid leaving the state. They are the only big show in town in a talent rich state. Everyone else in the SEC is used to sharing the wealth with an in-state foe or doesn't produce enough in-state talent to really give a shite (or produces so much that it doesn't matter, ie Georgia)

Saban got to LSU and locked the borders up, so your modern day lsu fan expects that that's just how it's supposed to be. Strange phenomenon though. Strange indeed
