Greeks have been getting there at least an hour early the past three (maybe two) years because of rule changes. 45 mins prior to kickoff, block seating becomes open to all.

The students get a subsided ticket. It would be like a welfare person throwing away the food stamps. AU fans know about food stamps so you should understand that.

It was 52 to nothing Coach. You were actively trying NOT to score. You shut it down early in the fourth.

You expect fans to stay for a game YOU already considered over. You were trying to get on home early too.

So...

SHUT THE frick UP.

..or give the fans a reason to stay.

That's a pretty stupid analogy. You should be ashamed.

That's bullshite.

Half the reason I went Greek at LSU was because we got reserved seats so I could show up at kickoff or whenever I felt like it and still have a seat. Also, having a Seal a Meal machine in the kitchen to make booze bags, aka Curley Hallman survival IVs.

Schools without block seating have the exact same issues as we do. Removing block seating would literally fix nothing, but I would love to hear such insightful people tell me how.

If too many leave a block too early the SGA reviews it and will suspend their block for a game. If it continues to be the same way they lose it completely.

No one shows up late to games. I know my block is full an hour to 45 minutes before kickoff.

I will stay for conference games usually to the end, but if the team is winning or losing by more than 4 scores late in the third or in the fourth I'm leaving. Cuts three hours off of transit time, but some of these coaches and admins have apparently forgotten what it's like to deal with post game traffic - or they never knew in the first place.

Over my head? Hardly. So stupid to not be worth anything more than derision? Yes.

As stupid as your welfare analogy is, it would be marginally better if you said something to the effect of: That would be like people using food stamps to buy food, cooking a meal and not licking their plates clean or sucking the marrow from the bones.

Still a poor analogy for a variety of reasons, but it's a bit better.

ETA: And it's subsidized (just like their education) not subsided. Normally I wouldn't be so petty as to point out something like that, but the stupidity of your argument makes me think you really don't know you misspelled a word.

Did not hear it but do not doubt it. "It better be what it ought to be". Quote from his birthday. Coach says everybody has a part, do your part.

"you really don't know you misspelled a word."

Once a poster brings out the spelling police you know they are done. Enjoy your corn dog.
