Coach prayed and the Good Lord heard him and granted him a blessed half.
During the half time break God was talking about the second half with his football guru. He asked for his thoughts and how the game should play out. The Bear told him to frick Ole Miss, that they were a cheating bunch of A-holes that were giving the SEC a bad image and need to be embarrassed in front of a national audience.
The rest is history.

You are wrong, but carry on.
Hugh Freeze is a good man. Attacking his faith is out of line.

Would anyone's life pass the scrutiny of this world? I think not. There has only been ONE perfect human being, and He made a way for fallible mankind to be reconciled to God.

We have yet to face the NCAA committee on the charges you speak of, yet most of you condemn Ole Miss anyway. If we weren't winning, I doubt a word would be said about Coach Freeze's faith. I think other programs like to think they can scare away recruits and create doubt. NONE of the accusations has been settled.

If we cheated or he cheated, OM will face the consequences. We ALL face the consequences of choices in behavior. I grew up Baptist, too, and I recognize a true Christian, too. It is a person who follows Jesus Christ not someone who follows a football coach and expects him to be perfect. . It is NOT about what we've done or NOT done, it is about what HE (Jesus) has done for us. Believers are sinners saved by grace but believers struggle just like unbelievers. The difference is that believers are forgiven.....forever.

Freeze is no phony. He's human but not phony.
Neither you nor anyone else has the right to be judge and jury. Freeze doesn't answer to you or anybody else.
He answers to God. He is a witness for Christ in his job. I cannot think of a more worthy cause than to steer young people to Jesus. This world is sorely lacking in good Bible teaching. No one is more vulnerable than the college aged young people. No one needs God more than these young people as they set out on the road to adulthood and independence. Coach Freeze won't win all of his players over to Christianity, but that is NOT his job. His job and any Christian's job is to be ready to defend the faith and give an accounting of Jesus. After all, one day when life is over, he or she stands before God not the NCAA or even a bunch of disgruntled football fans.
You will answer for you...Freeze will answer for Freeze, and God's justice will prevail. It won't matter how many football games have been won or lost.

Sorry this is probably what no one wants to hear on this forum, but I find it offensive the attacks on God and Christianity. If OM or Coach Freeze has done wrong, God will deal with it. Whom the Lord loves, He chastens. Same applies to you and me.

I just don't understand the blatant disrespect for God on this forum, but then I do not have to answer for that either. "The fool has said in his heart there is no God. " God's thoughts are not our thoughts nor His ways our ways.

Then by all means don't read it. It is not a requirement.

This is just wrong. I remember people making fun of Freeze's pastor gimmick his first year on the recruiting trail. Also, let's not forget that Hugh Freeze tried to use Mullen's alleged lack of faith as a recruiting tool.

If we cheated or he cheated

It's not an if he cheated. Ole Miss has owned up to the violations stated in the first NOA.

Freeze goes around speaking and preaching in various churches with no formal education, training, or anything resembling credentials related to religion or The Bible. What else would you describe this as if not phony?

God's justice will prevail

We as humans have to ensure justice prevails here on Earth. Don't use God to justify inaction.

Trump goes around speaking and preaching in black churches and that's OK with you?

He has no formal education, except when he is preaching at the vajajay of Melania.

No, that's not okay with me. I don't like Trump. How is Trump relevant to this topic or even this board?
