I do have southern pride, I just dont give a frick about conferences. It may shock you to learn that Florida State is located further south than Auburn.

I'm not saying I NEVER would root for an SEC team vs. a non-SEC team, I'm just saying that the consideration that takes priority is always "how does this impact UGA". To do otherwise is unfathomable to me.

Chokelahoma has track record of losing BCS games by 50 points. But they beat the piss out of the mighty Crimson Tide on a national stage.

The PAC12 definitely looks strong, the other 3 are just 1-2 team top heavy.

But the PAC12 , 10 returning QBs , really good coaches, a lot of speed and talent. It's gonna be a fun league. Compare the teams down the line to the sec and see if you'd bet your paycheck on it

They aren't there yet, but it's close , closer than most here want to admit.

What game were you watching?

They had less yards, less first downs, worse 3rd down conversion, more penalties, and lost the TOP. It took 3 special teams frick ups for them to pull it out at the end.

They played a team that should have never been there to begin with, so meh...

Yeah that is a great philosophy if almost all your regional recruits rivals are in your conference.

I dickride teams that play SEC teams.

You must be from up north or something.

I'm 100% LSU, but if we can't win it, then I prefer another southern team to do it as a second choice.

You're just bitching because UGA hasn't won a natty since Herschel Walker was there.

You try really hard, dont you?

All I'm saying is that how a given situation impacts my team is my first consideration. Then I'll consider the situation (do I like/dislike the coach, quarterback, etc.?). Sometimes I root for a team that is in the SEC, sometimes I don't.

Being a southerner means I know how to assess a situation, not that I lap up some pride over a completely arbitrary grouping of schools. In what way is it displaying southern pride to root for Auburn over Florida State? Bama over Clemson? LSU over Georgia Tech? (I would root for LSU there, because I hate Georgia Tech passionately)

Sorry you don't understand football.

I love how it takes AU screw ups for other teams to win, but their miracles are skill.

You all seem to forget you 3rd touchdown came off a fumble at the FSU 27, was that not a screw up. you had a yard advantage of over 220 yds to 87 at that point.. You only out gained them by 65 yards total for the entire game , that difference is right there. ANC of course you held the ball longer you had the ball 14 more plays as usual which at 30 secs s play is right at 7 mins.

Everyone knew when they scored right before half , they had shaken off the nerves and the second half AU would have to hold on. And that's exactly all you could do except for your last scoring drive, which I got admit I didn't think you had in you. But you just could tell , when you scored FSU was coming down to Take it. And if you wan to deny if , go ahead , it's inly FACT!!!

And FSUs first TD came off an interception. You wanna ignore that as well?

So you think the better looking team is the one who gained less yards, ran less plays, and held the ball for less time?

Hate to say it but Bama would have beat FSU.
Auburn got extremely lucky last year and it showed that they didnt belong in the championship game

No moron. , spread teams generally hold the ball longer. And run more plays an have it longer. Even when getting their A$$ beat. You pointed out the interception first , I just countered that football is a game of mistakes and opportunities, but you seem to forget that. FSU is the better team than Auburn at a every position then and today. They just are, deny if you want. , 56 coaches who know more than you agreed today!

Yep. The spread is univerally known as the true ball control offense.

Moron is a word used oddly at times.

Did you root for the big 12 before 2012? It's all so fricking dumb. Conferences come and go and are essentially television conglomerates at this point. I'll get excited rooting for my school. Knock yourself out with the whole being a fan of 14 teams thing.
