Just accept it. They're thrilled with a winning season, they are Vanderbilt without the academics.

Thats simply not true. I said after that game that he wouldn't get an invite. Justified or not, 31 yards in the biggest game of the year would have people write him off in the Heisman race.

Fornette isn't winning the Heisman.
Just accept it and allow the river of life, with all its truths, beauty, uncertainties, unfairness, floods and levees, fish and fowl, to demonstrate the future in the way God intended, as it flows on steadily and unperturbally.
The rhythm of ole' man river provides a fine lesson in patience. And it is a God-ordained example of finally accepting the will of a power beyond your control. The eternal river, flowing down from the northland, fed by streams, rills, brooks and tributaries that drain half a continent... flowing by farms cities, towns, villages, roads and railroads... flowing amid bluffs and sandbars, bearing the produce of the heartland, navigated by ship, barge, and boat, the main highway of North Ameerica .....
... and then it flows into a dank stinking delta swamp where the refuse and sewage of all the cities and people of a mighty continent is dumped into a semi-tropical fetid environment on putrid mud banks. There the once magnificent stream creeps fearfully by a rotting world of subsiding soil, monsterous evil gators, creepy-crawlies, and snakes and the half-human population that thinks them all good to eat.
In a world infested by bugs and insects all dedicated to the torment of the unfortunates condemed to inhabit that sour underworld the great river hurrys to escape like a refugee fleeing a horrorfying gang shooting. In it's flight the river hastilly dumps the poisonous garbage swept down from Pittsburg, Denver, St. Louis, Chicago-area, Minneapolis, into heaps of garbage embedded within stinking mud-flats. There the refuse decomposes providing the colorful aroma of "atmosphere" to a provincial population who knows only how to cook critters and eat corn dogs.
Fornette isn't winning the Heisman... acceptance is the first step to salvation.
