If someone asks Saban about Fluker's tweet on this, that person may get punched through the phone.

ETA: Saban on Fluker tweet: "We are trying to do things the right way. We try to educate our players on how to do things the right way."

Chase Goodbread ?@ChaseGoodbread 3m
Saban: UA Compliance will "absolutely" check out the DJ Fluker tweet regarding agent payments.

If you hope hard enough, something may come of this.

NOTHING will come of this, we both know that. Still I am always amazed at the response when I post tweets, articles, etc.. Keep up the good work...

Its just funny you keep posting about this tweet that was so clearly hacked, hoping that something comes of it. Like I said. Keep up the hope!

@MikeGarafolo 20h
Been working this D.J. Fluker story all day. I know many rolled their eyes when he claimed he was hacked, but this one seems legit.

Let me get this straight. Fluker tweeted that he took money in college AND there are pictures of him driving a cadillac???

It would nearly be impossible to have a vehicle given to you these days. Every major athletic department has an extensive program to monitor athlete's vehicles. I've known people on swimming scholarships that even say it is a hassle to go through the procedure of registering a new vehicle with UA.

so naive, I can tell you for certain it happens a major universities still( or at least did a short few years ago, an SEC school not in AL and one you would be very suprised to hear). And as Trey said, Pryor at OSU. However he wasnt the only one at OSU, several players had access to cars.

Alabama doesn't have one of the largest compliance departments for no good reason. We've had our share of run-ins with the NCAA. Don't you think they would be strict with this type of stuff. I mean, they're having to investigate a damn tweet for Christ's sake. Some people, like you, are just too cynical and think everyone is cheating at some awful rate. Things happen like the ordeal with Jerrell Harris, or the boating trip with Julio Jones and Mark Ingram, but those pale in comparison to someone driving around a 50K vehicle.

And some people like you are blinded by their fandom to see whats going on. Like I said I can tell you 100% certain that cars are provided for, of course not all kids or all the time(sans ohio state a few years back, and it was pretty bad ) And its not always a 50K car. some are just a used ford taurus with a shitty custom paint job. The schools/coaches themselves dont always know about it, nor do they want until someone starts acting careless

Oh it definitely happens, you just have to know how to do it. I imagine the best way to do it would be to say you saved money for his college education, and that combined with the Pell Grant was enough to buy the car.

OSU isnt the best example of it though. They were out of control and got busted.
