Something about state winning a championship this year? I know he was excited after the biggest win in his career, but does he really think msu can win a championship? They looked like shite to me. Auburn would have won with a decent qb

He's their coach. You want him to say "I know we are going to lose to LSU and Bama and have a fight with Arky but we will be happy to be 3rd or 4th in the SEC West this year"?

There is a difference in believing it and coming out and saying it to the world. He's a arrogant prick and deserves the beating freeze is going to deliver

He doesn't have to say they're going to lose to the better teams, but he doesn't have to say they're going to win a championship!

I don't think so. i know it deflated the defense to watch such a poor performance from the offense, but they got shredded the second half of the game. Just the fact that we were in the game for a half was a miracle, MSU didn't take advantage of 3 turnovers in the first half.

Why not? It's a way to keep his team motivated. It's a lofty goal but as a coach why wouldn't you want to strive for it?

Ole miss will beat state easily this year. State looked terrible today and played their best game possible. Swing routes wont work all year

Auburn was expected to be down but I think it's obvious they are way down. State fans are acting like auburn is a top ten team. Back to topic, are state fans not pissed that Mullins is still running is cock sucker?

I was there. We have a damn good QB, and at top 5 defense in the SEC. If we didn't play 2nd stringers and play soft coverage in the 4th, we could have held auburn under 150 yards.
And that's with a lot of mistakes to clean up. If we improve at all with our special teams play, we could be special.
