Tennessee breaking our spirits is laughable. Well actually no its not, when your most important player gets hurt then maybe they did in that sense. But losing to Tennessee did not. Y'all we're due, Butch is happy, but we are fine.

Let's just beat Florida.

If you would have told me that Lambert was the starter and Chubb gets hurt, I would have told you we would have had 3 losses by now.

No. Tennessee broke their spirit

I’m not trying to discredit Tennessee victory, but if Chubb doesn’t get hurt that game ends differently.

It's possible. The better question is....who broke Auburn's spirit before the season ever got started. You were predicted to win the West!!!!

Or maybe it's that their best player got injured.

This and a weak QB.

Crap, I think Auburn could lose their best player and they would still look as bad as they do. Auburn has 4 more losses coming their way and all they can talk about is UGA's spirit being broken?

When you have a team come back like that (and we've been on the receiving end in years past)

Err. Years past? How about twice this season? And as multiple people have already stated, losing your best player has a way of crushing a team's identity/spirit. We're damn sure not winning through exceptional quarterback play at this point, so going to be the M&M Show out of the backfield. Hopefully they can keep some games close.

That and losing Chubb. Teams that think they are really good play to a higher level and with a goal of the championship series. Once they find out they are not quite on that level, it is hard to maintain the spirit.

They have to find something else to play for and motivate them. For Georgia, it may be making it to the SEC championship game. Beating FL will be a big step in that direction. I expect them to come in regrouped and fired up. Would not be surprised if they win the WLCP.
