STTDB is not sponsored by the band, nor the school. In fact, the LSU band and administration have class and have quit playing at least 3 popular songs that the students add vulgar and/or classless lyrics to.

Closest the band got to that kind of behavior is playing, "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" with 1:30 left.

I personally think singing it is kinda trashy.. If you won, why would you taunt the looser? I am biased though as my mom is a Vol and my dad is a Dawg...

Texas A&M fans haven't had it sung to them so they wouldn't really understand why other teams do it back.

I understand why people would call Rammer Jammer classless, but I can't help finding it funny. Maybe I'm more lighthearted than some.
But singing it back to them, while easy to understand, just seems to me like the equivalent of yelling "I know you are, but what am I!?" or some shite.
I'd prefer A&M not go there. I'll never follow the logic of criticizing someone else, and then imitating that behavior at the first opportunity.

I was at the game and don't recall hearing it.
I bet some folks sing it after the Alabama-Auburn game.
