Shaun Alexander's performance in Death Valley still gives me fricking nightmares

One of the funniest fan stories (when talking about a game) I've even heard, was a buddy talking about Alexander's game in BR. Talked about being as drunk as he was and still knowing Bama was going to run the sweep to the left again. And how could the DC (Tepper?) not know it was coming.

Those bama teams were talented

This statement right here tells me you have no idea what you're talking about. Anything else is useless.

Shaun was prob the best college running back that I've seen play the game.

So, you only watch Bama then? You should expand your horizons.

No. Loved Su, but he averaged 4.9 YPC.

Going exactly how I figured it would go. OM fans with Deuce and Bama with Shaun. I'd go with Shaun Alexander however.

Both did well against lsu but Alexander won hands down. He arse raped us in 1996 then beat us with back to back tds in the last 2 minutes after recovering the onside kick to put the dagger in us. As a kid he gave me the sadz

I was on vacation in Gulf Shores watching it, it gave me the happies.

I meant to type best underutilized player. SA should've had 1600 or more touches during his time at UA. He was best skill player on the teams by a mile.

Both were obviously elite level running backs. I though Deuce was an outstanding player. Alexander was one of my favorite players ever at Bama so I am biased.

Both were beasts.

I will go with Alexander, but I love Deuce.

Shaun was from Kentucky. He was not a member of the group Nappy Roots and and ran the ball for Bama.

In short, he wins. Only thing I got.

Oh, and Nappy Roots is an awesome group.

Shaun Alexander ways looked like bubba from Forrest hump to me and his big shoulder pads always bothered me but he was a beast, too bad both couldn't stay healthy at the end of there college career. They both had great nfl careers
