Details of Muschamp's Buyout from South Carolina?

I know he's still getting paid, and it is my understanding that he has to subtract whatever he makes in another job from what SC owes him. Right now he's got it made, working at UGA where his two sons are in school and/or involved with the team, and getting paid HC money from SC still. But when does that run out? When would he decide to be a HC again at, say, somewhere like Auburn?
What's he making now, how much is still owed to him by SC?

It was an awful deal (great for him, and honestly I dont hate him for taking it. he should)
It is a contract so bad that we couldnt fire Frank who also has a bad contract (atleast the Final Four was responsible for that)

The suit and tie side of our school (BOT and AD) are so bad its not even funny.
if Beamer works out its a miracle, but I doubt he gets a crazy contract for a while no matter what happens just because of the previous bad deals.

You are thinking too logically.
He will have a few big wins, the program will fear losing him to a Penn State or Florida, and he will get his crazy contract.
Fear is a big motivating factor. Evenmoreso than love or like.

Muschamp is just more cut out to be a DC imo, at least for the next 4-5 years.
He has failed miserably at two SEC schools already as a HC.

I don't know about that. I think he was in over his head at Florida as a very young guy (39 or 40?) in his first ever HC gig, at a big time school, inheriting an 8-5 team that Urban ran away from as fast as possible, but he won 11 games in his second season there. It went down from there, obviously...
At South Carolina, he inherited a 3-9 team and finished his time there at 28-30 which is just under .500, and considering that he was having to play Clemson and UGA every year, it's still South Carolina. There is a ceiling there. SC fans will hate this, but .500 is their normal. I wouldn't call it "failing miserably". Hell, .500 is a bowl game every year, something that isn't necessarily normal for SC.

It’s all about trajectory. Muschamp wasn’t trending up and he had plenty of time. And he was doing way worse than 6-6.

I think Muschamp is a hell of a defensive mind at the collegiate level.
I love him being in the CO-DC role at UGA, hopefully for the next several years.
I'm just not convinced from his history as a HC that he is really very good at being a HC

It’s the historical norm but that doesn’t mean we expect it like we used to.
It wasn’t that long ago when we were kicking the shite out of the East and Clemson for about 5 years. 0 reason why it can’t be done again.
Plus, Clemson is the smaller school, with fewer fans, with less money. If they can do it, so can we. It’s all about finding the right coach.

Look at your options out there right now, if you are looking for a HC at a big program.
He's got to be on the list, right? Former experience, never any scandal, older and more mature now, has two NC rings as an assistant, has coached under both Saban and Smart, and is still relatively young (50), and he's available.
Tell me he isn't getting calls. Say it out loud.

Look at Spurrier's stats there... including the glory years, he was still 44-40 in SEC play.

Again, it's about trajectory. If he had bad seasons to start and then better seasons going forward, he would have a much better rep.
Also again, I'm not saying South Carolina isn't a .500 program, I'm saying it's stupid to think we will settle for that. And why should we? Doesn't mean we will ever be thought of as anything different, but if you aint tryin...
