With that out of the way, AU gets a bum rap. It is what it is though. Like I said, it sucks for AU that folks just "feel" like there is something there..and seemingly are foaming at the mouth to break it.

And since then, the stories that have come out have been shown to be bullshite. I like it. Embarrass the people even further that have no journalistic integrity and appear to have an agenda.

Yet things keep coming out.
Face it. AU has a PR problem. They are perceived as cheaters. Embarrassing folks sometimes just makes them dig their heels in deeper...and go after it full bore.

I didn't read it because I just don't care what AU is doing. I didn't care when the allegations came out, and I don't care now. What I find interesting is how this bullshite makes people crazy. The Bammers and rest of the SEC getting all ecstatic about the possible sanctions (mostly during the Cam saga, didn't see as much this go around), and then many AU fans circling the wagons and collectively putting their heads in the sand. Really, the same thing would happen with any fanbase. And while I have great disdain for the way the media operates today, what is a little unique to Auburn is the propensity to point to its rival so consistently as the source of all of its problem, when time and time again we see Auburn alums and whistleblowers within the AU community reporting stuff. That is what I find interesting- the psychology of the fallout.
