Derrius Guice = Mark Ingram??

I was watching some highlights of his, and it dawned on me that his running style and build really remind me of Mark Ingram. Anyone agree?

They have similar builds, but guice is a little more shifty with better straight line speed. Similar hard nose running style though.

I agree on build but Guice prob has more quickness to his game

Meh, Ingram was great in college at making guys miss in a phone booth. Guice is definitely faster. The build and physicality is very similar, but Ingram had great vision, patience, and wiggle in college. I don't know that I'd say Guice is quicker. He's a great back, no doubt about it. A violent runner, my favorite kind to watch. Tony Brown almost killed the poor kid in Tuscaloosa last year, but he'll get his eventually

Guice is a legit 4.4 guy.

I think Ingram is a little bit of a harder runner, if that makes any sense.
Guice seems more likely to bounce off of blockers. He's like a pinball. Definitely a little shiftier.
His straightline speed doesn't leave me impressed, so far.

Lol Bama fans are so terrible.
And while the comparison isn't terrible, Guice will run a 4.50 at his combine, maybe faster, and likely has better hands. Guice is more reminiscent of Chubb IMO for running style, and for Bama RBs, his spin moves elicit memories of Lacy IMO.
