Henry wont be a pro bowler, but behind a solid line, I think he could do well. He has decent vision and if he can get to the 2nd level he has shown the ability to take it to the house, at least in college. He wont fall past the 2nd round

I think Derrick Henry would have a great career with a team like New England (too bad N.E. doesn't have a 1st round choice) not because they are already good, but because he would fit their style.

As awesome a back as I think Henry is, I think he'd have less of a chance for success on another great NFL team, the Carolina Panthers, because of THEIR running style with the read-option being a integral part of the package.

I've always thought he would be a stud in the NFL. He's durable, powerful, and you better slow him down at the line, because once he has a head of steam, forget it. Nothing he has done this year has changed my mind...

Henry would be a deserving winner in a lot of years I won't take that away from him.

The kid from Stanford is the deserving winner this year.

Just say most bama players do not meet the expectations when they are drafted but Henry is one that will meet them

Seems a lot like B Jacobs

Will be a great goal line back. Hopefully he gets to a team that can get that use out of him.

Don't know if anyone has seen this, but I just went to Henry's Wiki page and it has this:

Height 12 ft 9 in (3.89 m)

Henry leads the nation in yards after contact, and yet he somehow gets stopped too easily behind the line.

(it fits the narrative just go with it. Keenan-Mayfield McWatson for Heisman

If you've watched our team play since Henry's been the feature back, then you'd know that the barner hit that nail right on the head.

honestly?

who knows

Arian Foster didn't look like an All Pro back

Trent Richardson did

I believe taking ANY RB in the first round is a colossal mistake

I. COULDN'T. CARE. LESS!!

This a topic LSU fans concern themselves with. I could not tell you how Bama players are doing. Heck, I don't even know what team most play for. I know Julio is a Falcon, Ingram is a Saint, AJ is a Bengal and I think Rolando is a Cowboy?? Don't know for sure. We have no pro team so I don't follow it. Don't care. They belong to those teams and fans now.

but if you look at the top 10 leading rushers in the NFL right now, half of them are guys you probably didn't even know existed when they were in college.

Which is why Henry will probably be drafted in the same area that Bama's only other Heisman winner was drafted.
