Why is a big deal that a white player gets chewed out by black HC? I certainly didnt care....player made a bone headed play...but Mason should have saved his wrath for the VU white punter who shanked a punt for 12yds to give UF the ball at Vandy 45 yd line with time running out to set us up for winning FG. Thank God he shanked it because our offense still only advanced to 28 yd line and we kicked a 43 yd FG. Our offense could not have marched from our 30 yd line the way we played.

It's not. It's only a big deal if the races are reversed.

I think it's clear some people are obsessed with race, some black, some white, a few of them stuck on a message board..

You clearly saw the game and realized why it was that Mason was upset. Not because a player was white.
If Mason didn't want to coach white players he probably wouldn't have taken the Vanderbilt job.

Nobody said Mac was racist they said his profanity and demeanor were inappropriate and people felt different ways about it.

Explain why the media didn't make a big deal of Mason's tirade then.
The truth is the media doesn't care about a black coach berating a white player. They shouldn't. They also shouldn't care about what Mac did but of course we know that they went nuts for it for about a week or more.
Also, this isn't a Florida or a Vandy issue. It's more of a media issue and SJW issue.

This is not really a 1:1, Mac to Mason argument. Are they the only coaches who have flipped out in a game? No. That is why this is a whiny thread. The reasons Mac got the attention were:
1. The up close and personal video with audio that went viral and made it into a story
2. Florida, Bama, Georgia, FSU, Notre Dame, etc will always get more national coverage that Vandy. Obviously.
You have a new coach. You are going to win the East. This is a crybaby thread.

Vandy being Vandy has something to do with it but the media attention wouldn't have been as great if Mason was at UF. It is what it is.
