He seems frustrated by the media and by our defense

I knew there would be some growing pains changing to 3-4 scheme but giving up 550+ to UGA and Florida is inexcusable.

UT had the game won vs UF but giving up that 2 big plays (70+ yard rushing TDs) killed us. UGA had 3 or 4 big rushing TDs too. defense lost both games for Tennessee.

I feel bad for Dooley. I believe him to be a good coach who inherited a bad situation that takes time to recover from. If you look at the way it happened,
the whole Kiffen year debacle set off a bomb in an already distraught program. He's doing the right things.

I wonder what UT's record would be if Wilcox was still D.C?

Sal will be better in the long run and his coaching is much better, but it makes me wonder for this year and the growing pains.

UT had all the chances to win that game. UGA turnovers in the redone and a pick-6, dropped passes all over the field that could have been huge gains or points, had the ball at the end against a defense that was giving up yards and they turned the ball over multiple times...if I was Dooley, I would be pretty frustrated. This was a great chance to get a signature win, but the Vols pissed it away.

Good games fellas.

I feel for him....UF & UGA put over 500 yds of offense on him. His defense is not good..Randolph may be missed...but we were well on our way to winning at Neyland when he was injured. I think UT has to see how they can recruit some really good defensive players...they did do one thing today which I liked, they didnt abandon the run too quickly. # 20 is a decent runner if the OL could get some ooph in their step. There is just something missing on the sidelines and thats the fire in the belly to win and the will to fight til the last second....although today was better, the tv panning the UT bench shows a UT team not confident enough...not all of them holding four fingers in the air at start of 4th qt. The locker room may be decisive...I dont know, but Dooley needs to change the whole identity of his team and make them hungry as hell.
