Allen would beat Vandy by himself. Barnett doesn't belong in the same sentence with Allen.

True.
Which is about like saying Reuben Foster is a better defensive player than Jonathan Allen. Or vice versa.

Barnett is a great, great player who any team would be lucky to have. That being said when you really watch him closely the last few weeks he took himself out of a lot of plays and didn't play the run well at all. That's not to take anything away from him with those DTs & LBs you're going to have some holes anyway but Barnett rushed himself out of a lot of plays the other night.

I don't think he's overrated. I think he's a damn good player and going to be a very solid pro for a long time in the NFL but I do think he got frustrated. Which being an elite DE with the rest of that defense behind him would be very frustrating.
