Now THAT would make some kind of righteous GIF.

I knew the reaction I was going to get but didn't care. You're still fricked. This staff is phenomenal.

I don’t care if they turned out to be the team water boys as long as they can coach.

Is it though? Typical Bama fan, every hire is a “grand slam”. This dude did nothing as HC, got fired from Dallas, and had shitty DB play. Oh but he coached at 2 lower tier SEC schools. Nothing about this hire is impressive. Must be exhausting trying to spin all these hires.

Actually, the NIL situation at Alabama is currently about as lame as it is at aTm.

I'm convinced that it was the Learfield deal that pushed Saban's retirement decision along more than anything else.

Linquist was DB coach at Miss State, TAMU, and the Cowboys before going to Buffalo

Oh my bad. He coached at a bunch of schools that hasn’t been good. The Dallas Cowboys also had Derek Dooley as WR coach, so that should tell you something.

This is the same coaching staff that lost to Jeremy Pruitt in 2021.

Deboer- OC for Indiana
Womack- DC for Indiana

Lost to the worst coach in UT history, Jeremy Pruitt.

We had HC’s hired and it doesn’t always work out like you think. Wommack appears to be a positive.

yeh you took Buffalo's coach who would have been fired this year. Dude has a 14-23 record and was 3-9 in 2023. Wow great pickup.

A lot of good coordinators or position coaches don't succeed when they transition to head coaches. That doesn't necessarily mean they wouldn't be good additions to a staff. Time will tell...

really where were the DBs good that he coached? Your own beat writers talk about the recruits he got and only 1 was a DB. Your coach is rebuilding the 2020 Indiana staff and they sucked and lost to anyone with a pulse.

Who? Who did he coach that was so great?

If I was Bama, I’d leave Dallas out of his bio and not even mention that to recruits. He was fired with a quickness he was so bad there.
