General,
You and your troops (SEC Nation) have fought with honor and valor. The fact that you have been able to win so many battles(Football and Baseball Titles) is without a doubt a tremendous feat. Colonel Sankey has led your Army into many great battles and come out on top consistently in those two sports.
However, Collegiate Athletics is about eyeballs and our Big 10 conference is home to the top 4 TV markets in the USA and 11 of the top 20 Markets overall. The ESPN contract you allowed Colonel Sankey to sign is very impressive for the small markets that your schools reside in. Unfortunately General, you lost the war as next year the new Big 10 contract of 7 years and $8 billion moves to existence.
In conclusion General...there is no shame in surrendering a 2nd time to the North. Our Big 10 Army has you flanked to the West with the new Big 10 West division, Southwest Division, and Mountain Division. To the North with our Plains and Midwest Divisions as well as our new Big 10 Atlantic Division.
South Carolina will move to the Atlantic Division; Texas, Oklahoma, A&M, and Arkansas will move to Big 10 Southwest Division; Florida State and Miami will join the remaining teams in the SEC and become the Big 10 South Division.

None of your people will be harmed in this transition and your schools will finally be making the money they deserve as members of the Big 10's new 48 team conference. Your traditions and tailgates are some of the best in the country and now they will be seen across the entire country and around the world with the reach that the Big 10 has with their media partners at FOX, CBS, and NBC.

It is a glorious time to be a member of the Big 10 and we welcome your SEC Nation in as our new Big 10 South Division.
