RB Blake Sims passed for 449 against these guys while Bama's suspect DB gives up a mere 96.

Are there any teams other than Florida and LSU that call themselves DBU?

While I agree LSU has a better claim at DBU than UF, UF had 10 DB's in the NFL last year too.

That game was such an embarrassment. They did play pretty well near the end of the year though.

Lame bullshite excuse, every single school does shady shite in regards to getting top tier talent. If he felt UF was better he would've gone there

meh.. I guess

quote:

Sorry that y'all's talent evaluation sucks. Robinson would've been the second best DB in that class after Hargreaves but he didn't get an offer?

lol gtfo, Kendall Fuller and Jalen Ramsey are both better so no he wasn't the second best

quote:

"Legacy" prospects get pulled away all the time. Remember a guy named Gerald Willis? If your theory was accurate he would've ended up at Bama

dude, toliver was committed since like 8th grade. He wasn't going anywhere else

quote:

And yet the only safety that y'all signed in his class was a low 3* prospect? Battle's looking pretty good, that says a lot more about UF's talent evaluation than the quality of guys LSU is signing

oh is he really? That 3* is Quincy Wilson who has since moved to corner and has been a stud and probably a 1st rounder when he leaves. Battle is a benchwarmer.

You'll notice I made no claim nor any disparaging remarks about the Gators. I look forward to our annual gig. Really a great deal of respect between these two traditional SEC powers, unlike some of the hatred that flows between other cross-divisional rivals. Good luck to you guys this coming season, other than during your trip to BR.

Fact of the matter is, I would rather be NCU, National Championship University, however, I can't speak about other schools, but LSU has had lots of players go to the NFL and be successful. People consider our QB play to be up and down of course, but each player including WR's leave here with the skills and tools to tear it up in the NFL. Look at the last two Landry and Beckham.

So if you are a WR or any other type of player and you want big stats, go to college and get big stats, but speaking for LSU only, if you want a football education to be successful at the next level come to LSU.

Peace, I'm out...

I demand that any school claiming dbu do so only after winning three consecutive Jim Thorpe awards or back to back Thorpe's and a Chuck Bednarik. Anything short of that is just bullshite and need to gtfo. Peterson, Claiborne and Mathieu accomplished that trifecta and there were several star dbs at LSU before them. So anyone claiming dbu needs to get that done as long as LSU is still churning out first rounders. Period. This is a dumb argument.
