Do I need to go through your post history to see if you commented on anyone else's Spring game?

No thanks. I'm dealing with some idiots on Saints Talk at the moment.

But you got me. I recorded the LSU Spring game on a re-broadcast because of the reaction the initial showing got on this board.

I should have just taken everyone's word for it.

Did anyone actually witness the indoor portion of the spring game? The first anyone heard about it was a statement by Orangutan about a score to the apparent amazement of everyone. Just a statement...no stats, no pictures, no summaries, no recap, no recounting of scoring plays, no info whether the teams stayed the same, or even if the indoor play was in a game format.

In short there are many reasons to believe whatever took place indoors wasn't a "game." The fact that the more monkey-see element of the LSU fan base is so intent on deflecting questions, acting defensive and touchy, while resorting to their usual name calling without the least bit of football info, tells me the truth is not a pretty picture.

You think the head coach of an SEC powerhouse school lied or seriously misrepresented the scoring in a spring game...

Whom do you think we are, Ole Piss?

Saban's been accused of doing that in the past. I believe one reporter from Mobile, in either 2008 or 2009, accused Alabama coaches of making up stats during a spring scrimmage that was closed to the media.

Ironically enough, I think that reporter ended up leaving Alabama to cover the Ole Miss Rebel beat in Oxford.

Sad when you have to live vicariously through a better tiger team.

The point is that Saban's defense is extremely vulnerable when attacked properly. We haven't done that in a decade, but it's coming, but combined with a defense that can keep you under three TD's...at least.

Yes, both sides of the ball has regressed.

6-6 is the ceiling for this team.

Offense was very vanilla until they moved it indoors where the cameras weren't in a good position to record formations and plays

So Ogre doesn't want to show much for fear of BYU?

What if the other teams on your schedule review that BYU game for formations and plays? Oops.

edit: Why was the game moved indoors?

How much would L6U fans melt if BYU beats them?

Chicken needs to have the hamsters working out over the summer just in case.

Apparently so, since 26 + 7 = 10.

Due to lightening the second half of the spring game was help in the indoor facility. It was open to the media and the players families but ESPN did not film it.

Wait a minute. LSU fans bashed UF for cancelling a game because of a hurricane, and then LSU cancels a game because of a thunderstorm?

El strango.
