Banned from tv does this mean there is going to be no Michigan-Ohio State on ABC?

I fricking hope not. If I had to drive to Michigan to watch that game I would be super pissed.

The NCAA does not do TV bans anymore, Danny used to be plugged in, but times have changed... I agree that Danny lost some credibility with that statement...

Also ALWAYS remember that Danny Sheridan is a HUGE Bama fan..

Just because the NCAA hasn't done TV bans since Auburn in 1993 doesn't mean they no longer do them.

I seem to remember Alabama coming very close to getting a TV ban in 2002 after the Albert Means thing broke.

What Ohio State has done is far worse than the Albert Means thing since the abuses span almost 10 years.

And I'm sure you know exactly what the NCAA will find out in regards to OSU from the years 2001-2010.

I used to do it all the time in college, but I was in load bars at the time. It's not easy to do post-graduation.

Well...here's a little hint:

Take a look at the number at the end of my name, assume that I was born that year, subtract 1987 from 2011, and then take your answer and subtract 9 from that.

The TV ban absolutely still exists. Google TV ban and USC and you will see that the committee strongly considered using it in that case but decided against. If the OSU case is worse, sounds like they'd definitely get it.

The problem with TV bans now is that it impacts the conference, not just the team. Harming a conference and other schools to get some sort of punishment in for a particular wrong-doer is the equivalent to the old "two wrongs don't make a right". Post season bans are a better way to get at a particular school, without the collateral damage.

Alright...LOUD bars. I shouldn't try to type on this board, have a conference call, and update an Excel document at the same time.

I have a staunch record of unblemished heterosexuality. I'm undefeated in that regard.

So because I was 15 in 2002 means I can't have a valid opinion on it in 2011?
