I wish they tracked drops as WR stats like errors in baseball. They only show up as incompletions for the QB.
The last pass AU threw Saturday was a beautiful pass by Marshall to Coates and it hit him in the 18 and he dropped it two yards in the endzone...we had to kick a FG.

For some reason I thought they did. Maybe that's NFL, or maybe its just video games. shite, I don't know.
But I agree, it should be tracked.
ETA: I mean in the sense that the stat should be available. Not in the sense that it shouldn't count as an incompletion.

Cooper is going to be the first receiver picked in the draft, and he is easily the best WR in the SEC. It's really not close. He is as athletic as anyone, tough to tackle, and a polished route runner. Sometimes I wonder wtf you people are watching.

omgz sammie coates guys!!1!
Coates = talented and raw
Cooper = talented and polished
Cooper will be a top 10 pick. Coates will be picked in the back end of the first. It's not really hard to see when you watch them

The draft will reflect the answer. GM's are unbiased, auburn fans are not

Are you and Allbamadoesiswin the same person?

Um..... there have been basically two WRs in the last 20 years who were #1 pick worthy-- Calvin Johnson and Randy Moss-- Cooper is good, really good but not on their level physically or in terms of production (and keep in mind Johnson's production came in a triple option offense with a QB who was hilariously bad, like if you want to make a Georgia fan laugh just say his name bad.

Sorry Flexbone, wasn't Paul Johnson there by the time Calvin was at Tech?
He would have been hilarious on the Friedgen-O'leary late 90s early 00s teams, with lil' Joe throwing him the ball.
