Yeah, I don't think anyone would fault Mullen for leaving Mississippi State for the Florida job, if he is indeed offered. I wonder if the Gators would want someone with more experience though, perhaps someone like Stoops.

Yea, if he gets offered the job and there is documentation of it, and Mullen says no thanks and stays at MSU, I'll ban myself for three months. If Mullen goes to Florida, you ban yourself for three months.

depends on how they handle the process

do they want an outsider to come and completely change the culture?

or do they want an urban disciple who will keep things the status quo?

Mullen has already said he isn't leaving for a long while and then even if only the perfect opportunity comes up.

EVERY coach says that kind of thing.....Mullen will leave Starkville as soon a bigger name school comes after him......Just like Tub left Ole Miss....ya'l can be competitive, but you can't hang with the big boys year in and year out....thats a fact

You better pray that Mullen doesn't get a chance to turn Florida down.

i'm gonna laugh IF he gets an offer and turns it down while saying "i am not leaving Mississippi State for a good long time and love it here"

I'm gonna laugh too.
But surely for a different reason.

half of us (including me) have already started "Fire Mullen" threads in the past. I'd like to start my new HC worship with a clean slate for a 6 month grace period before I start blasting the new guy with "Fire Him" threads. ;)
