Only he could take a historic offense and lead them to a three loss season in only an eleven game schedule. Only he would start Felipe Franks over Kyle Trask. He’s got his team primed on a two game losing streak, possibly a three game losing streak after the bowl game and out of the Top Ten to really get the momentum going into the offseason. The cherry on top is the #10 recruiting class which is only 5th in the SEC.

Mullen is a genius! Kirby can’t coach!

Mullens only win in 4 tries against Kirby was with bennett/mathis at qb with lecounte/pickens/davis out lol

Next year no trask, pitts, or toney. Ouch. Back to the usual

Dan Mullen is dumb as a stump but 5 star Kirby got wrecked by him.

Mullen > Kirby

Nobody does less with more than Kirby. All those top 3 classes and nothing to show for it.

1980.

Mullen is a good coach but he makes some very bad decisions at times. I couldn’t believe they wasted a timeout to go for 2! That’s horrific coaching

So those other three times they played don’t count?

Having Trask hurry it up and run it in before half to give Bama an extra 30-40 seconds was ridiculous.

He’s like Toby from The Office.

Hard to compare coach to coach with such a massive talent gap.

I think an sec championship is a pretty nice thing to accomplish. Granted it's been 12 years since florida won one so I understand forgetting what it's like.

By usual you mean Uga underachieving since 1980?
Bama beat uga by 17. UF beat uga by 16. With all them 5 stars.

Fair. Beating the gators 3/4 years really means nothing. We agree there. Need to do more

Yep, 12 years removed from our last NC. How long since Georgia's?

I am sure you feel that gap is widening too.

Moving the needle and ignoring the most recent results. If you can go back 4 years, I can go back 20. How does it look then? How about we look at total SEC Championships since 1980? Total nattys since 1980? It ain't close.

Since football was invented UF has 3 nattys. Your underachieving mutts have 1. 40 years ago.

If it defines your season, sure. Funny what the result is when the talent gap starts closing and actual coaching starts to matter.

You can't just talent your way to a championship. You have to coach too. Something Kirby hasn't shown yet he's capable of doing.

They had the same talent levels last year and UGA won. He had several 1st round draft picks at MSU when Kirby throttled him, but sure, only this year counts
