If that AU game was towards the end of the year instead of the 2nd or 3rd game they would've been destroyed. That was the worst UF team since Zook. Richt gonna Richt.
I guess it had nothing to do with State actually playing well? It was still Florida & in the Swamp. UF's talent alone should have won the game.

He managed this with the easiest schedule in college football and got throughly dismantled by any team with a pulse.
I would argue that if it would have been a traditional State team they would have lost to UT, Auburn (2-3), & out scored by Arkansas. No, they didn't play well against LSU, Bama, or Texas A&M but really who would?

Ole Miss and Florida both have.

Not with a hobbled starting QB and Addizi calling the plays.

I agree man. I also think Coach Anthony Grant could eventually be as good as Cal.

The only two teams that have even given Bama a fight were Ole Miss and LSU. ATM skull fricked you.

If Mullen had the talent of Alabama or LSU he would already have a National Championship.

By his 4th season at Michigan State, Saban had several signature wins under his belt. He beat a top 10 Michigan team in his first year, crushed a top 5 Penn State team by 35 points in '97, annihilated a top 10 Notre Dame team by jumping out to a 42-3 halftime lead and beat #1 Ohio State in Columbus in 1998. Name me all the wins Mullen has that compares to those type of wins.
He also had the following terrible losses/ties:
Purdue(4-6-1) 35-35 tie
Wisconsin(4-5-2) 14-45 loss
Louisville(5-6) 20-30 loss
Northwestern(5-7) 17-19 loss
Minnesota(5-6) 18-19 loss
What does Dan Mullen have to compare to those types of bad losses?
