Wait, did he really say the biggest game in the history...of...MOBILE...frickING...ALABAMA?
And to think folks ask Gators all the time why wouldn't want Coach Mullen back at UF.

Apparently this is a strategy of some kind, because his dumb arse is playing @ UAB next year.

Yeah, I never really understood why Moo State was playing there. They could play every single home game in Mobile and they still aren't getting any recruits wanted by Alabama and Auburn out of there.
Winning the biggest football game in Mobile's history is the equivalent of being the tallest person in a room full of midgets

This was the biggest game in the history of Mobile, Alabama," said Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen. "Mississippi State is plastered as the biggest game in the history of this city and it was won by Mississippi State University. Not Auburn, not Alabama - Mississippi State."

Guys, y'all don't get it. People are going to be talking about this game for years... no, decades to come. It was the biggest game in the history of Mobile! Does that not mean anything to you?!

I'd travel anywhere to play too if
It got me out of Starkville. Way to go, Dan.

Nope. McGill/Leflore 1972. Murphy/Fairhope skip pass game. Davidson/Jeff Davis 1973. And any game with Tweety Bird Connor.

I don't guess he's wrong

And don't forget Namath's Jets playing exhibition versus Buffalo there.

And the biggest game in Starkville, MS history was more than likely won by Alabama or Auburn, or will be soon.

Well that just sunk his battleship.

Hell, I was in Mobile on Wednesday and Thursday and you wouldn't even know there was a college football team in town.

Every one of these games would still be a bigger game than State vs USA.

Maybe he ought to wait until after he has actually beat Alabama or Auburn before saying his team won a big game in Alabama.
Got a funny feeling that the shine starts coming off this coming weekend.

"...Mississippi State is plastered..."
Well, at least their coach must have been when he made that statement.
