3. Mississippi St.'s Prescott will leave for NFL if he's projected as top pick

Dak Prescott admits that heading to the NFL isn’t something he thinks about a lot. But he told The Inside Read that if he’s projected as a first-round pick, he’ll leave early after his this year. He’d also strongly consider going if he’s a second- or third-round pick. “One of the worst things is not going, getting injured and hurting your situation,” he said. “I wouldn’t risk it if I had a chance to go first round. I’m graduating college, and my time here will be done, I’ll do exactly what I wanted to do.”

He added: “When the time came and there’s an option, first, second or third round and I had the season I wanted to have, I’d go.”

Interesting given how most scouts have told Rotoworld that he could use a senior year to improve.

But that didnt stop Jevan Snead. We will see.

I think 1st round - Obviously gone

2nd / 3rd Round - If he has the season he wanted to have.

St. Louis needs a QB that can take a hit badly. Bradford is done.

Well he graded worse than NM last weekend so I doubt he'll project that high

I think it is hard to begrudge any player who has a shot in the NFL for leaving early. If you think you have the shot at the moment, you would be crazy not to take it. A lot can happen in your senior year that could derail your opportunity. He graduates in December right? I mean he could spend another year at the collegiate level, but the window for success at the next level is a pretty small one.

If he has a top 3 projection, he needs to go. Unless you are a very early draft pick, you'll make your real money on your 2nd contract anyways.

For NFL. Obviously a really good college QB. I don't see it for the NFL though.

Spread athletic QB's haven't been making it in the NFL lately.

Between Nick Marshall and Dak Prescott, which one gets drafted first?
