Sure he is. I don't know why the legend of Tebow has left such a bad taste in everyone's mouth of the dual threat qb. There's been countless others out there who have been wildly successful in the NFL. I'd compare Dak more closely to Steve Air McNair.

The only ones on that list that I'd put above Dak would be McNair and Conerly. Favre's success didn't take off until his nfl career.

Yeah, that was before this season, and includes NFL careers. As far as production in college he's in the top 3, maybe #1.
If you're including NFL careers, then Favre is clearly #1.
