Probably the most likable player in the conference, too.

I don't think there's any question about that. Pre-game Sumlin was all-in on Dak and said, paraphrasing, that he was somebody you wanted to pull for if you weren't playing against him. That's pretty much how I feel. I wish him well in the NFL, though he doesn't need my wishes.

I can imagine how poorly he would be used at Alabama and LSU. Mullen and Dak work well together.

Thanks for the backhanded compliment. Everyone knows bama's and lsu's inability to develop a QB. Mullen could turn Brandon Harris into a sec QB.

Aye, this is honest inquiry--I wonder what Brandon Harris would be like under Mullen.

Ive been critical of Daks passing ability...but he has made some improvement in accuracy...otherwise he would not even be listed. His size and running instincts will help him get drafted somewhere probably in middle rounds.

The NFL looks at size and you are 6'4 or taller it helps you. They do draft sometimes with "potential" in mind and take chances. When someone like EJ Manuel is drafted in the first round I have to scratch my head.....but its because of size and arm strength even if he no real grasp on reading defenses.

Because NFL draft projections do a great job telling you how good of a college quarterback someone is...

I quoted someone saying he was the best QB in America. No qualifiers

Oh, I read.

Poster says Dak is the best quarterback in America, obviously meaning in college football. You respond with some ridiculous, irrelevant NFL draft guru rankings.

Dak is a top two quarterback in the country. He's been fantastic this season.

Really makes me wonder about Mullen. I know he can't be as bad as Curly, but is he a good coach? I'm not sure if it isn't all smoke and mirrors and a VERY special player is making him look like a good coach.

Mullen won 24 games in the three seasons prior to Dak being a starting quarterback at State. In one of those seasons he won 9 games and finished 15th in the country with a QB that had no other power 5 offers in Chris Relf.

Not to mention the other QBs he coached including Josh Harris, Alex Smith, Chris Leak, Tebow, and now Dak.

I can respond with the fact that you once again have no chance at an SEC championship and will continue your championships drought to forever

Maybe next year with a QB that wont be a 6th round flyer

Dak is a really, really good college QB. He's probably the best in the country and its a crime he's not being discussed more for the heisman.

That said, the only way he has a chance to succeed in the NFL is to get drafted by a team that willing to rebuild its offense around his skill set. Not many are willing to actually do that though.

Still unclear as to why he went to MSU

He could be winning championships and heismans at a hand full of other schools
