Then there's Dak Prescott. The Mississippi State quarterback has been a better player, both statistically and anecdotally, than he was in 2014, but he's barely noticed beyond Oktibbeha County. The Heisman Trophy debate in this region is Alabama's Derrick Henry vs. LSU's Leonard Fournette. Forgotten is the guy who finished eighth in Heisman voting last year, who this season has 18 touchdown passes and only one interception, who has completed 200 of 300 pass attempts, and who leads Mississippi State in rushing (418 yards) and rushing touchdowns (7).

Great player who I saw slice through a pretty good LSU defense last year. Definitely interested in seeing how he fares against Bama this weekend.

wait...that can't be right can it? after 9 games, your leading rusher only has 418 yards? Please tell me that's a misprint.

Not a state fan, but I do think that is demonstrative of just how on his own he is. Wilson is the only other guy on offense that is any good.

This comment shows you're not a state fan.

Who else is good? Didn't mean it as a slight.

Any good =/= someone you know

Try watching them play before you make a foolish statement like this.

Fred Ross is very good. He makes it hard to focus on Wilson.

SDS- Does MSU have best Recieving Corp in SEC

He has quite a few targets that I believe are pretty good ballers. De'Runnya of course is the best but Fred Ross, Fred Brown, Donald Gray, and Gus Walley have all been good this year. we can just spread the ball out to everybody.

Now we have no run game to talk about what so ever. Ashton Shumpert looks like Tarzan plays like Jane.

Our best running backs are on the bench because they are crappy pass blockers. So we have no run game.

And yet we've only lost 2 games. Close your eyes an imagine what that's like...

I wasn't insulting MSU, I just found it hard to believe that the leading rusher only has 418 yards through 9 games. I mean, it doesn't even seem possible. And that's your QB...what stats does your leading RB have?

How do you think UGA would have done against the powerhouses of SoMiss/NWState/Aub/TROY/LaTech/UK/Mizzou?

Let's see, let me guess how UGA would have done with State's schedule so far

@ USM - W
vs LSU - L
vs NW St - W
@ Auburn - W/L
@ A&M - W/L
vs Troy - W
vs La Tech - W
vs UK - W
@ Mizzou - W

So, I have them at either 7-2 or 8-1. It's totally un-debatable they would be 6-3 and pretty un-debatable they would at least split A&M/Auburn. So......yea.
