Dabo or Lane

Neither are my top choices but if I had to pick between the 2 to be Bama’s next coach after Saban. I would lean towards Lane. I prefer a coach that is atleast good at schemes on at least one side of the ball. Plus Lane being familiar with Saban’s system I think makes it an easier transition. Dabo just comes off as a CEO type coach and not really a fan of those. Which would you take between the 2?

You don't have a chance at either so stop dreaming. It's BOB or get someone like Sun Belt Billy. Nobody wants that mess after Saban.

I could be ok with either but ...
Dabo is a proven winner but kinda dull. Not sure if he'd be able to pull in great coordinators at this stage in his career.
Lane is a great OC but would Bama get a decent defense? Right now, I would take a decent offense but want very badly a great defense.
Actually harder to choose between the two than I would have thought.

Dabo will finish with more natties, but his program is set and I don't think he could build another program. everything fell into place for him at Clemson.
I don't see him leaving.
Lane has built programs. I think Bama would be a good place for him honestly.

If it’s Dabo, the good news is he doesn’t have to build it, it’s built.
But I would much rather Lane.

Dabo told his fellow 92 teammates that he would crawl through glass to be the next coach at Bama after Nick at their reunion

between those two: Lane every day and twice on Sunday

Already giving up on Saban huh? What if Dabo and/or Lane totally shits the bed before Saban retires?
Don't you think you're getting ahead of yourselves?

I know Dabo‘s personal assistant. She was also the personal assistant to Bowden before him. Let’s just say her and her husband got into a huge fight a couple years back because he is a Clemson man and he refuses to ever move to Alabama. True story.

Dabo... all day, every day

They can go after the UCF coach. The last UCF coach that came to the SEC seems to be doing pretty good.

Could you imagine the pressure of following up someone like Saban? A 2-loss regular season would be an abject disaster, and every single loss you would have to hear fans repeat "Nick wouldn't have lost this game"
Following the greatest ever does not sound all that desirable.
